Connecting Facebook and Instagram Business Accounts

In this video we go through the process of connecting a Facebook and Instagram account through Meta Business Manager/your general Facebook page settings. To get started you will need to have admin access to the Facebook business page and login credentials for the Instagram business page you are looking to connect.

Important: If your accounts aren’t both business accounts, you won’t be able to connect them. You will have to go through the process of upgrading your Instagram to a professional account or creating a Facebook Business page before linking the accounts.

Meta Business Manager Account

It’s important to know that when you connect the accounts, a new Business Manager account will be created. This is an overarching account that connects all of your Facebook and Instagram assets together.

Going through this process will also allow you to connect Instagram DM’s with Facebook Messenger, so you have a streamlined chatting experience.
